I like monthly favorites but I get overwhelmed by them and managing the timeline… if I try something 2 weeks into the month and I love it, is it still a monthly favorite? I keep my IG pretty current with products I’m loving but I figured we can do a 3 month what I’ve been loving? Just an overall catalog of products and beauty favorites I can’t stop reaching for!!
Nudestix Hey Honey Highlighter. IDK why I waited so long to buy this… it was always a product I eyed but never bought because I told myself I had enough highlighters and already owned a Nudestix one. The texture is sticky but it’s a dewy shine that actually sets down and lasts. They have a few shades — hey honey is a golden shade and it looks just like my skin so if you’re light – medium skin tones, even tan I think this would be mega flattering on you! This highlighter is beyond.
Florence by Mills See You Never Concealer. Light weight on the skin, looks like skin, feels like nothing, offers light to medium coverage which is more than I expected. This concealer is ah-mazing, I’ve reached for it nonstop since purchasing and if you like light, airy, dewy and glowy makeup, you’ll like this. It creases (under eyes) because its on the more dewy side but it looks so nice on. I’m also the shade 75 and it’s the perfect match for my skin which makes a world of a difference when finding a good concealer. I already want to try more from the line and her stuff is clean at a $ price point! Sold at Ulta so use those coupons!
Starface pimple patches. These lil guys have taught me not all pimple patches are created equally. These stick on SO well and the star shape helps to hold on to any area be it curves like the nose or near your mouth. They look like little yellow stars so not something you would probably wanna wear during the day but oh so perfect for at home and night time. And when you take them off, all the gunk in your blemish is sucked out. I will definitely repurchase these.
Huda Beauty Bronze and Contour. I’ve been loving a more chiseled, minimal look so this product is perfect. It’s basically a cream bronzer but it really lasts well. It’s harder to blend so keep a light hand…aka it can get overwhelming or even patchy. A fluffy synthetic brush is ideal for application. I used a dense kabuki before and was left with dark stripes of pigment. I have the shade light and it’s dark at first so use sparingly but it will blend if you work at it. The cream bronzer market is slim so
Kylie Skin Moisturizer. Say what you want about the Kardashians/Jenners but oh boy, is this a nice moisturizer. The texture is perfect. Light but not as light as a gel cream and not as thick as a night cream. It’s perfect for everyday use and it’s really light on the skin while still offering rich hydration. Great basic moisturizer and I definitely reccommend it!
Soap and Glory Heel Genius. This heel cream smells amazing — so light and clean plus it contains AHAs so it helps to exfoliate which makes your feet softer. One thing — foot care is scarcely talked about. Two — you could just use a night serum that you don’t like — anything with AHA or BHA to get the same effect but this product is a dream to use so I enjoy it and it works!
Benefit Dandelion Blush.** This is such a pretty peachy blush and it looks very neutral and almost bronzy on. Not baby pink! It’s super flattering and it lasts! I’m always blown away by how much better powder blushes last vs cream. ** gifted
Pat McGrath Lip Fetish Sheer Color Balm. This is a hydrating, sheer lip balm with color. SO wearable and perfect for everyday because sometimes lipstick makes me feel too made up! Way better than Fresh lip balms too IMO. I have the shade blow up and it’s up lips but better. Definitely one of my most used lips. They are very pricey but worth it if you like a natural lip!
NEW LOVES & BEAUTY FAVORITES
Eau de juice super concentrated. This perfume lasts all day and smells like a dream. Flirty but sophisticated.
Ouai body wash and cream. Both smell INSANE. I am completely smitten with the body wash!
Armani Contour. SO light, so nice and natural looking. Easier to blend than Huda but lighter! Really enjoying it for days when I want something light and it blends like a dream. They have a warm and cool shade but I think they look more neutral. I have shade 21 which is cool but I don’t think it looks too cool.
Kevyn Aucoin Glass Glow Gloss. The GLASSIEST, GLOSSIEST gloss I’ve ever used. It’s sticky but oh so good.
MAC love me lipstick. These are infused with argan oil so they have a really creamy and hydrating formula. I have the shade Daddy’s Girl which is an awful name and the prettiest light baby pink!
Bioderma Shower Oil.** SO hydrating and luxurious to use in the shower. My skin feels hydrated after the shower and doesn’t cream for lotion. It has the most subtle scent and it’s French pharmacy goodness. *gifted.
Not so new but huge loves…
Bioderma Atoderm Cream Lotion.** SO good for irritated skin and eczema or skin rashes. It literally gets rid of my eczema. It’s unscented and very gentle! Totally a staple for me. *gifted.
Supergoop Daily SPF. My favorite SPF at the moment. It’s hydrating and doesn’t leave a white cast. Plus it leaves you with a subtle glow. This formula is SPF 50 and you can use it everywhere!
STUFF I’M EXCITED FOR
Tom Ford Glow Drops. Last time these suckers released apparently they were LE and no where to be found when I wanted them. I called stores in 5 different states and had no luck so you bet I’m getting them this time.
Tower 28 Beauty cream blushes. This brand is for irritated, eczema prone skin which is me and 28 is my lucky number. Itching to try their stuff!
Glossier Futuredew. I haven’t been interested in a Glossier launch in a very long time! This one — an oil serum after makeup and SPF to give you a glossy, dewy finish. It’s only $24 and I am totally here for it.
That’s it for now.. the holidays always bring new launches so we shall see! Telling myself I’ll only get stuff on sale! I think Sephora should be having a VIB sale soon and of course, Black Friday which I think will be here in no time.
