Boston Guide & Photo Diary

I had the best time this past weekend in Boston with my mom! She comes to visit me every fall semester and we usually go explore something new that we’ve never seen before. It’s been one of the greatest parts of going to school in MA. Crazy to think that this is the could be the last time she comes and visits me at school before graduation.

We spent the weekend in Back Bay – we stayed at the Copley Square Plaza and I totally recommend it. Great location, too. I love  Prudential Center…particularly the MASSIVE Sephora, Saks and Eataly! I have to go to that Sephora every time I’m in the area because it has everything.  Here’s everything I did food/shopping/beauty. Typical. Not sure whether to call it a guide… a photo diary?  Weekend follow around.

If I wasn’t a beauty blogger I would blog about food. I love food but I’m picky… and I’d be massive so it’s probably best I stick with beauty.

Eataly was fantastic. I wish I took a picture but I scarfed down the food so quickly that wasn’t even a thought! Although if you’ve been before it’s the same so I wouldn’t say it’s a must.

Tatte. Such good pastries. It’s so aesthetically pleasing too…great for an IG. I got the chocolate rose.

Lolita Back Bay. Mexican food…small plates and tapas. Very dark inside! Get the free tequila in the grapefruit granita that they bring to your table when you first get there. The frozen chili mango marg is delightful. The guac is good. The street corn is great and the carne asada/steak tacos are soo good. Good little spot and totally recommend it.

Sonsie on Newbury. Get the mashed potato, grilled pizza. Sorta crammed inside but so good for brunch or lunch.

Credo Beauty

Newbury street is a good spot for beauty and of course, Sephora at the Pru. If you go to Sephora, go to that one. There’s a Kiehls, Fresh and Lush on Newbury but, I rarely go to brand specific stores. There’s a Blue Mercury which I’ve decided I’m done with because they are SOOooOOOO rude every time I go there. I never get a hello, I feel judged and GOD FORBID you ask someone a question.

The Credo Beauty on Newbury is great. It’s the first time I’ve ever been to one and they people were nice, friendly and helpful. Credo beauty is like an all natural Sephora. If you’re into to beauty it’s great because they carry hard to find, clean brands like Kosas, Herbivore and Kjaer Weiss. Here’s what I grabbed! I’m so excited to finally have my hands on the Kosas Tinted face oil! I also got the Herbivore oil trio, dedcool chapstick and RMS burti bronzer.

I love this little bag and the size is so perfect!

Drybar was a miss. I don’t love them in general but they didn’t wash all the conditioner out of my hair and my roots are a greasy mess. After my hair was washed the stylist said the conditioner made my hair greasy…IDK I shouldn’t be leaving a blow dry bar with greasy roots.
