I love chocolate. I love cupcakes. I love food. I love to make food. I love to EAT food. This whole shabang is so atypical for a fashunnn blogger…(even though I don’t consider myself one.) The fashion industry isn’t the poster child for yummy treats, but for small sizes, skinny legs, and body shaming. But the reality is, you can’t get away from food; its a part of EVERYONE’s life. And hello, eating food is healthy and it makes people happy! (talk about HANGRY= hungry-angry) Food and drink is a central part of fun and celebrations. Think parties, birthdays, going out to dinner… If good food makes everything better, then chocolate cupcakes make everything euphoric!! Everyone needs some of that!
I made chocolate cupcakes w/ chocolate frosting and I’ve come to SHAARRRRREEEEEE!! Because, I love chocolate and a good pair of shoes as much as the next girl. Heheee.
I got the recipe here and took out the espresso powder and substituted some of the vegetable oil for melted butter to keep the cake moist. I dislike the taste of vegetable oil so very much! Especially in cake. I added more vanilla too! In hindsight, I’d probably substitute either some of the water or vegetable oil for buttermilk. It makes the cake more moist.
